Dutch DJ and music producer duo Lucas & Steve surpassed 1 billion streams before releasing their debut album, Letters to Remember, in 2020. We were commissioned to craft a cohesive visual album concept that extended beyond traditional cover art.

In today’s digital landscape, an album cover isn’t just an image—it’s a dynamic narrative that lives across platforms, offering audiences a participatory experience.

Creative concept: The album’s music radiates happiness, freedom, and youthful rebellion, while the lyrics reflect nostalgic themes of young love and fleeting moments. Initially titled Memories to Remember, the album evolved into a road trip-inspired concept, symbolizing the emotional journey and timeless memories it creates.

Visual identity & color concept: Rooted in Lucas & Steve’s brand identity, we designed a graphic color palette centered around their signature orange—complemented by vibrant tones reflecting the album’s emotional highs and reflective moments.
