Our task was to create a new visual identity and logotype that modernizes the brand while honoring its legacy. The challenge: attracting a new crowd without alienating loyal regulars.
The logo functions both as a wordmark and a symbol. The letters "ID" in "OXID" are rotated 90 degrees to form a playful, standalone icon — a subtle nod to the bar’s famously flirtatious atmosphere. The supporting typography, Pitch Sans, is a light and clean monospace font that contrasts sharply with the boldness of the logo.
The color palette is energetic and unapologetically loud, featuring vibrant neon green, yellow, and luminous red — perfect for an atmosphere built on celebration and spontaneity.
OXID isn’t a noble establishment. It’s a place to let go, have fun, and bash.
